Job Opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional to lead our team in delivering high-quality care services to individuals with intellectual disabilities.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing or social care, with at least 5 years of experience working with people with intellectual disabilities. They will also have excellent leadership skills, as well as experience in managing teams and developing policies and procedures.
As a leader, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of safe and effective care services, managing staff and resources, and contributing to the development of new initiatives and projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage a team of care workers to deliver high-quality care services
* Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure safe and effective care practices
* Manage staff and resources to achieve business objectives
* Contribute to the development of new initiatives and projects to improve care services
* Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines
Requirements:
* Recognised qualification in nursing (RNID desirable) or social care
* At least 5 years' experience of working with people with intellectual disabilities
* Minimum of 3 years in a management or supervisory role in health or social care
* Hold an appropriate management qualification (Fetac Level 6 or higher)
* Experience of working with individuals with high support needs
* Clear understanding of regulatory guidelines and policies
Desirable Skills:
* Full Clean Driver's Licence
* Excellent IT, administration, report writing and organisational skills
* Demonstrate initiative, good interpersonal and teamwork skills
