Job Title: Operational Excellence Lead
Job Description:
- We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Operational Excellence Lead to join our team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to inspire, lead and mentor diverse teams across our site.
- As an Operational Excellence Lead, you will have the responsibility of leading complex change initiatives across the business. You will mentor and develop supervisors, deputise for Operations Manager and participate in site or campus operational initiatives.
- Your role will involve planning, conducting and supervising assignments under limited supervision. You will review progress and evaluate results, recommend changes in procedures and process improvements.
- As a key member of our team, you will be accountable for maximising resources available to deliver outstanding results on all key performance metrics across the Business unit. You will also deputise for Operations manager and represent Business unit/value stream at site and operations forum.
- This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires excellent leadership aptitude to work with people and set direction as part of a cross-functional team and across a large number of teams.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Degree or master's in business, Production Management, Engineering or similar discipline or demonstrated equivalent experience.
- 4 years minimum experience in a manufacturing environment.
- 2 years minimum Supervisor experience.
- Supervises production team(s) or a number of indirect staff.
- Excellent knowledge & computer skills in MS Excel, Powerpoint & Word.
- Business acumen with an ability to deliver process improvement objectives.
- Good knowledge of GMP / FDA regulatory requirements, housekeeping, health and safety.
- Genuine interest in investing in people and facilitates individual and team engagement and development.
- Ability to coach, provide effective feedback and manage performance.
- Problem solving methodology experience required with process knowledge desirable.
