Junior Project Manager Position
We are seeking an experienced professional to fill a challenging Junior Project Manager role.
About the Opportunity
This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated and organized individual to take on a demanding project management position.
You will be responsible for overseeing the operational aspects of construction projects, focusing on efficient cost management and maximizing profitability.
You will work closely with various stakeholders, including clients, sub-contractors, senior engineers, and quantity surveyors. Your key activities will include liaising with staff and stakeholders, managing sub-contractors and site teams, planning weekly work programs, and producing reports on project progress.
Key Responsibilities
* Liaise with various staff and senior stakeholders, including Clients, Sub-contractors, Senior Engineer, Foreman, and Quantity Surveyor.
* Manage sub-contractors, engineering, and operational staff on site.
* Plan weekly work programmes and produce weekly reports on project progress.
* Oversee the site team to ensure key milestones are met.
* Manage the project design process while working alongside the commercial team.
* Work closely with the Contracts Manager and report progress to ensure the site programme aligns with objectives.
* Continuously reinforce the Health & Safety culture, striving for a safe working environment.
* Attend and chair weekly management meetings.
* Manage the complete day-to-day lifecycle of the project, from initial stages through to completion.

The successful candidate will possess a degree or diploma in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field and have at least 3+ years of experience in a similar role within the construction or civil engineering industry.
