Job Description
This role is responsible for leading the coordination and prioritisation of production to meet customer requirements, maintaining inventory levels and relevant Key Production Indicators (KPIs).
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead the coordination and prioritisation of production to meet customer requirements, maintain inventory levels and relevant KPIs.
2. Communicate and record output levels.
3. Collaborate with NPI teams to ensure that builds are prioritised and progressed through the line as per required timelines.
4. Identify and manage training priorities vs business needs monthly.
5. Lead the formation of training schedule and are responsible for executing the plan to ensure versatility, station rotation and line staffing plans are adequate to meet business needs.
6. Train & support the line SME's in delivery of training.
7. Responsible for approval, implementation, and scheduling of training for document changes.
8. Lead Production Training for new hires and ensures cross-training plans for employees are implemented.
9. Evaluate and sign off training.
10. Collaborate with the Training Applications Analyst in the upkeep of the SLMS training & ensuring that training is effectively recorded in line with QMS.
11. Identify opportunities for training business improvements and lead initiatives as required.
12. Manage the scheduling of overtime and review plan with Operations Supervisor to agree prior to publishing for the team.
13. Responsible for rostering work through visual staffing plans and updating holiday schedule for the PB teams aligned with the Operations Supervisor.
14. Approve holidays with the Operations Supervisor.
15. Is often the first point of contact for production to help address a process or product issue and capable of making the decision in relation to appropriate approach to take i.e. make decision or escalate to appropriate SME & then Collaborates with relevant SME to resolve the issue.
16. Proactively communicates any issues re production/materials etc. to the Operations Supervisor.
17. Maintain the reports on quality and production metrics (rework, scrap, line clearance, QA audits, cell shutdown)
18. Promote current Good Manufacturing and Good Documentation Processes
Champion and achieve the 6S process, standards, and objectives using teamwork
19. Lead continuous improvement initiatives and projects for the line and/or value stream
Lead in the resolution of NC & CAPAs as required and ensure effective compliance with Quality Management System (QMS).
20. As a competent Operations Associate SME, trains and coaches other Operations Associates.
21. Deputise for Production Supervisor as required.

* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Results-oriented with a focus on meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results.
* Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Documentation Practices (GDP) preferred.
* Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and situations.
* Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift up to 25lbs.
* Must be able to pass a background check and provide proof of eligibility to work in country.
