Race Equality Officer
This role plays a key part in promoting race equality and fostering an inclusive, anti-racist culture at Trinity College Dublin.
The officer will support the implementation of the Trinity Race Equality Action Plan, working closely with colleagues, students, and external partners to address racial inequalities and promote meaningful change.
Key responsibilities include gathering feedback through consultations, organizing anti-racism initiatives, delivering tailored training and awareness programs, and providing administrative and project support for race equality efforts.
The post is part of the Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion team, which provides strategic vision and promotes practices that support a cohesive approach to meaningful inclusion, participation, and representation.
This work also supports the University's Public Sector Duty under the Irish Human Rights and Equality Commission Act.
The role reports to the Equality Officer and works as part of a team in the EDI Office, serving as the first point of contact for staff, students, and others regarding the Trinity Race Equality Action Plan and race equality at Trinity.
