Excel Recruitment is currently hiring an experienced Social Care Worker for day-service within a warm, community-based setting.
This is an excellent opportunity to work as part of a supportive multidisciplinary team, empowering adults living with intellectual disabilities and/or mental health needs to engage meaningfully in their community and achieve their personal goals.
As a Social Care Worker, you will support service users in all aspects of daily living, including personal care, meal preparation and overall wellbeing, while playing an active role in developing and implementing person-centred care plans with a strong focus on community inclusion.
Working Hours
1. Monday – Thursday: 8:30am – 4:00pm
2. Friday: 8:30am – 3:00pm
3. Contract type: Temporary on-going

Key Responsibilities
8. Deliver high-quality, person-centred care while promoting dignity and independence

12. Promote the physical, emotional, social, cultural and spiritual wellbeing of each individual
Requirements
13. Eligible to work in Ireland (EU passport or valid IRP)
14. QQI Level 7 in Social Care, BA in Social Care Studies or equivalent
15. CORU registration
16. Knowledge of HIQA standards
