About the Role
We are seeking a Field Service & Calibration Technician to join our team, supporting our Aerospace, Medical Devices, and Food and Beverage sectors. In this role, you will ensure compliance with AMS 2750 standards for thermal processing equipment used in the aerospace sector, while also playing a key role in our food and beverage operations. The position includes an on‑call roster, requiring flexibility and commitment to address urgent technical issues as they arise.
Responsibilities
 * Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical and instrumentation equipment.
 * Perform regular calibration of temperature monitoring and control devices to ensure accuracy and reliability.
 * Perform regular calibration across a variety of instrumentation including temperature, pressure, conductivity, pH, flow, humidity, process controllers, etc.
 * Conduct on‑site service visits and calibrations, while also providing remote support as needed.
 * Participate in an on‑call roster to promptly respond to urgent service calls.
 * Maintain detailed documentation of maintenance activities, calibration procedures, and equipment modifications.
 * Stay updated on industry regulations, trends, and technological advancements in all relevant sectors.
 * Diagnose and resolve complex electrical, instrumentation, and process issues with precision.
Qualifications & Skills
 * E&I trade qualified, QQI Level 6 or higher in a relevant field.
 * Experience in calibration, maintenance, or a related field (preferred).
 * Strong understanding of temperature measurement principles and calibration techniques.
 * Awareness of PLCs, SCADA systems, and industrial automation software.
 * Excellent troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.
 * Good communication and customer service skills.
 * Meticulous attention to detail and adherence to technical procedures.
 * Flexibility and adaptability, including commitment to participate in an on‑call roster.
