Job Overview:
The Associate Talent Acquisition Specialist plays a pivotal role in identifying and securing skilled professionals for various operations.
This is a full-time position that involves collaborating directly with hiring managers to support the selection and recruitment of experts.
Main Responsibilities:
* Lead end-to-end recruiting activities, supporting portions of strategic talent acquisition projects, processes, and programs to meet business objectives
* Involvement in Early Career recruitment & activities
* Conduct comprehensive screening calls with prospective employees prior to sharing with manager to ensure suitability for role
* Manage applicant tracking systems efficiently
* Partner with Hiring Managers to create attractive offers to secure top talent
* Ensure a positive candidate experience and provide regular communication to hiring managers on open positions and active candidates
Necessary Qualifications and Skills:
* Holds a Bachelors degree in a relevant field
* A minimum 1 year relevant recruiting experience, preferably in high-volume engineering / science roles
* Experience with Workday Recruit an asset
* Able to work effectively in a team environment and also independently
