DeltaV Technical Lead - 12-Month Contract - Pharmaceutical - Client-Side - IrelandWe're excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a DeltaV Technical Lead to join our client-side team on a 12-month rolling contract in Ballydine. This role is part of a brand-new brownfield project, currently in the early stages, with an estimated 2 years of project scope ahead.We are seeking a DeltaV Technical Lead to join a client-side team. This is a long-term contract role, reporting directly to the Project Lead, with a specific focus on DeltaV Distributed Control Systems (DCS). The successful candidate will work closely with internal automation and IT teams, as well as external vendors and partners, to ensure the successful delivery and integration of DeltaV systems.Key Responsibilities:Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for DeltaV hardware implementation.Author User Requirements Specifications (URS) for DeltaV modules.Review and approve design documentation, including Functional and Design Specifications.Collaborate with local site project teams to define and implement DeltaV system changes.Participate in Agile sprint teams for software development activities.Support FATs, loop testing, on-site commissioning, and qualification activities.Follow SDLC procedures for change implementation, including RS updates, RTM, change control, and testing.Ensure software is implemented safely and meets quality standards.Educate project teams on automation standards, including system configuration, validation, and technology selection.Partner with internal Digital departments to ensure secure and standardized implementations aligned with client's global standards.Required Qualifications & Experience:Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.5+ years of hands-on experience with DeltaV, including standard and batch configurations.Demonstrated experience in DeltaV commissioning within GMP-regulated manufacturing environments.Strong understanding of cGMP, SDLC methodologies, and LEAN/MPS/Six Sigma principles.Proven ability in business analysis and delivering automation solutions on capital projects.Excellent problem-solving, facilitation, and decision-making skills.Strong communication and interpersonal skills with experience working in cross-functional teams.Additional InformationCandidates must have the right to work in Ireland.
