We are looking for a Service Desk Technician to join our team for a multinational leader in the technology sector.
• Manage support requests, incidents, and event-generated tickets.
• Analyze and resolve incidents according to standard operational procedures.
• Escalate complex incidents and propose preventive actions.
• Inform users about outages, known errors, and status of ongoing issues.
• Update documentation, workflows, and technical knowledge base.
• Assist in technical documentation and user manuals.
• Coordinate changes and update the CMDB.
• Participate in 24x7 shift rotations including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Perform other duties as required.
• At least 2 years of experience in a Service Desk environment supporting end users.
• Experience with ticketing systems and incident/request management.
• Familiarity with one or more monitoring tools.
• User administration, security groups, distribution lists, mailboxes.
• Software license management and virtual machine operations (snapshots, builds).
• Basic networking concepts (DHCP, DNS).
• Experience with backup/restore tools and certificate lifecycle management.
• Familiarity with MFA tools such as Symantec VIP.
• Scripting and command line knowledge.
• Fluent English (verbal and written).
