* Leads the development and implementation of improved safety, health, and environmental practices, policies, and procedures.
* Remains up-to-date with new legislation and maintains a working knowledge of all applicable laws and regulations.
* Participates in promoting health-related risks and on-site training.
* Prepares and updates company health and safety procedures, policies, and safety statements.
* Ensures all staff are aware of company policies and procedures.
* Manages safety officers and allocates them to live sites.
* Conducts site safety audits and inspections.
* Provides assistance and guidance to employed safety officers.
* Ensures compliance with health and safety legislation on site.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

BSc in Health and Safety or equivalent qualification.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Publisher, Excel, and PowerPoint).
Safe Pass and Manual Handling certifications.
Minimum 5 years' experience in the construction industry.
In-depth knowledge of Irish Health and Safety legislation.
Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, organisational, and administrative skills.
