Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities
Staffing and Production Management
• Work alongside other area supervisors and team leads to organise and prioritise staffing assignments, ensuring customer demand and production schedules are met
• Maintain a consistent supply of components to the production line by coordinating with stores and purchasing teams
• Liaise with external suppliers for part processing requirements
• Meet all production targets set by KPIs and update target boards to track daily progress
• Address and resolve production issues involving quality, performance, processes, equipment, materials, and labour
• Coordinate planned staff absences, including annual leave, unpaid leave, and scheduled appointments
• Prepare monthly and quarterly reviews as required, working closely with HR
• Deliver or arrange necessary training and ensure all related records are provided to HR
Team Leadership and Development
• Lead team members to support a multifunctional team environment with flexibility across roles
• Act as the main point of contact for troubleshooting equipment and hardware issues
• Conduct regular team meetings to review targets, address assembly line issues, and maintain a solution-focused work environment
• Promote a positive, can-do attitude within the team, focusing on teamwork and high standards
