Your new employer is a rapidly growing engineering consultancy that has doubled its headcount in the past 4 years and plans to increase headcount by a further 50% over the next 3-5 years. Their annual turnover is in the region of €50 million, reflecting a strong and expanding client base. They are looking for senior design engineering professionals on the mechanical and electrical side to work on data centre/industrial projects.
About Your New Job
As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be part of an integrated project team, responsible for the design and specification of mechanical engineering solutions.
You will also be required to work directly with clients to define project requirements and develop technical solutions.
You’ll play a key role in the coordination of services, production of tender drawings, specifications, equipment details, site inspections, technical submittals, and RFI management on data centre projects across Dublin.
What Skills You Need
Strong understanding of current engineering standards (Building Regulations, CIBSE Codes, IS/EN Standards) and experience in the design and specification of mechanical/building services systems on data centre projects.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of an engineering team.
Third level degree in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering.
Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, and IES is advantageous but not essential.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Minimum of 3 years in a similar role.
