About the Role
As a key leader within our finance team, you will be responsible for overseeing financial strategy and ensuring essential controls are in place across accounting and compliance functions. This role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to shape financial strategy, while also fostering collaboration across teams.
Main Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include proactive management of working capital, currency requirements, balance sheet, pensions, payroll accounting, and taxation. You will also oversee external relationships with banks, auditors, and tax authorities, while partnering with the executive leadership team on strategic financial decisions.
Accountabilities
The role involves:Leadership: Finance strategy, continuous improvement, business partnering, team development, and external stakeholder management.
1. Controls & Compliance: Balance sheet oversight, IFRS & UK GAAP reporting, tax compliance, cash flow control, audit management, and financial process development.
What We're Looking For
We are seeking a commercially aware leader who thrives in a fast-paced, structured environment. Key qualifications include fully qualified status (ACCA, ACA, CPA, CIMA), experience with UK GAAP and IFRS accounting standards, and proficiency in SAP R/3 and Microsoft Office suite. A strong communicator with excellent stakeholder management skills is also essential.
