A Day in the Life Of:

You will actively contribute to the production of medical devices, insuring alignment with the operational and clinical requirements as dictated by organizational business objectives
You will provide engineering expertise and technical guidance to multidisciplinary task teams, facilitating the resolution of complex manufacturing challenges
You will lead root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives, employing advanced problem‑solving methodologies to optimize process performance
You will utilize and establish rigorous analytical techniques and quality control tools—including statistical process control, failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA), and design of experiments (DOE)—to inform data‑driven decision‑making
You will interface with cross‑functional stakeholders, fostering collaborative partnerships to ensure strategic alignment and seamless integration of engineering solutions
You will support the introduction and implementation of product, process, and material modifications within the manufacturing environment, ensuring robust validation and compliance with regulatory standards
You will participate in the development and deployment of highly efficient, reliable, and cost‑effective manufacturing processes, leveraging best practices and emerging technologies
You will be engaged in the sourcing, evaluation, and qualification of materials, ensuring conformity to technical specifications and regulatory requirements
You will monitor and assess safety protocols, ensuring strict adherence to the company’s quality management system and regulatory compliance frameworks
You will execute designated projects that advance Medtronic’s business objectives, delivering technical solutions that drive operational excellence
You will meticulously document all design, development, and testing activities, maintaining comprehensive records in accordance with quality and regulatory standards
You will be accountable for consistently delivering informed decisions, actionable outcomes, and measurable results
You will support the deployment of automation technologies across manufacturing operations, driving process innovation and efficiency

Key Skills & Experience

Level 8 bachelor’s degree or master’s qualification in Engineering, Automation, or Information Technology, conferred within the past two years
Candidates must demonstrate a dynamic, results‑oriented approach, with the ability to operate effectively and proactively within multidisciplinary, cross‑functional teams
Superior communication skills are essential, with fluency in both written and spoken English required for effective collaboration and technical documentation
