Job Title: Process Optimization Specialist
We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team at Abbott in Kilkenny, Ireland.
* Monitor, implement, and maintain processes to increase productivity.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and manage KPIs and metrics related to engineering services and production performance.
* Track and analyze equipment failures, leading Root Cause Analysis initiatives using methodologies such as 5 Whys and Fault Tree Analysis.
The successful candidate will have a Level 8 (honours degree) in engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience in a similar role. Experience with Maximo and Cognos is an advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
* Process Monitoring and Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to enhance productivity and efficiency.
* KPI Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish and track key performance indicators.
* Fault Analysis and Resolution: Investigate equipment failures and develop effective solutions to prevent future occurrences.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
