Construction Management Expert
This key role oversees construction activity across the UK and Ireland, ensuring projects are set up correctly and operating in a collective and efficient manner. The successful candidate will have expertise in delivering full design, construction, maintenance, and end-of-life strip out to all types of commercial businesses.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee coordination with client & design team during the planning and design phase, to ensure that construction planning meets all stakeholder requirements. • Developing budgets, and managing costs, to ensure that construction projects are completed within budget guidelines. • Making sure that all construction projects meet health and safety codes, quality requirements, environmental regulations, and building regulations. • Making strategic decisions, and providing leadership and direction to the project team, to implement those decisions.
Requirements:
• Solid communication skills, with the ability to be assertive, while being diplomatic. • 10 + years of relevant post-qualification experience, with an appropriate management qualification or equivalent experience. • Experience in the execution of commercial/retail projects. • Ability to work on your own initiative and stamp authority on projects. • Strong IT skills. • Excellent organisational and time management skills. • History of success within the industry
