Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position at WHC Lab in Co. Wicklow. The successful candidate will ensure quality and compliance in packaging processes and support continuous improvement initiatives across production lines. Responsibilities include developing strategies to enhance processes, reduce costs, and increase product quality and output, while ensuring adherence to regulatory standards.
* Lead the internal audit team and implement quality systems effectively.
* Coordinate sample collection with the lab, witness sampling procedures, and ensure accuracy and integrity.
* Oversee soft packet inspections to maintain product standards.
* Monitor maintenance quality during machine breakdowns and report activities in detail.
* Ensure timely and accurate completion of machinery performance and traceability documentation.
* Enforce safety procedures and ensure compliance with all safety standards.
* Maintain compliance with regulatory and food safety requirements throughout packaging processes.
* Verify all manufacturing quality control points, including packet shape, soft packet quality, labeling, and printing.
* Review daily packaging production and laboratory reports.
* Manage preventive maintenance schedules for packaging machinery.
* Assess the effectiveness of quality control measures across manufacturing lines regularly.

Qualifications
* At least 5 years of management experience in biotechnology, fermentation, food, beverage, or pharmaceutical manufacturing.
* Experience in budgeting, resource allocation, and cost control within a production setting.
* Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to manage and motivate teams.
* Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and achieve business objectives in a fast-paced environment.
