This is a broad, hands-on role within a small team environment, offering exposure across the full reinsurance lifecycle and the opportunity to develop long-term within a specialist area of insurance.Your RoleSupport the end-to-end management of the reinsurance process, from placement through to ongoing administration and reportingAssist with underwriting-related reinsurance activity and liaise with brokers and reinsurers as requiredContribute to reinsurance accounting, returns and related documentationSupport governance, compliance and internal reporting requirements linked to reinsuranceWork closely with internal stakeholders across underwriting, finance and riskMaintain accurate records and contribute to process improvement initiatives within the reinsurance functionDevelop technical knowledge of non-life reinsurance structures and market practicesYour SkillsPrevious exposure to reinsurance, underwriting or a related insurance disciplineUnderstanding of reinsurance fundamentals and how reinsurance operates within an insurance businessStrong attention to detail and willingness to work across both technical and administrative elements of the rolePositive attitude, strong work ethic and eagerness to learn and progress within reinsuranceAbility to work effectively within a small, collaborative teamInsurance qualification or progress towards one is advantageousAnalytical mindset and comfort working with data and reportingShould this position be of interest to you please call Tadhg at Applications are in strict confidence.
