Details of Service:
The senior SLT will be assigned in the SECH area to deliver a quality speech and language therapy service to their assigned care group. This may involve working within an MDT/interdisciplinary setting delivering a coordinated and integrated service within the assigned care group.
A high level of clinical knowledge and evidence-based practice is required to carry out the duties and responsibilities of the role in the designated clinical areas:
* Care Group Area 1: Over 18 Adult: Adult Acquired, Older Persons. Covering Community & Acute Services. FEDs mandatory
* Care Group Area 2: Paediatrics Primary Care. Covering Community services only (FEDs not mandatory)
* Care Group Area 4: Child & Adolescent Mental Health in all settings (FEDs not mandatory).

* There are currently permanent & specified purpose, part-time & full-time vacancies available in the South East.
Please note that there are existing panels in place for Speech and Language Therapist, Senior. The current panel will take precedence over any new panels created through this campaign for future posts.
A panel may be formed as a result of this campaign for Speech & Language Therapist, Senior, from which current and future, permanent and specified purpose vacancies of full or part-time duration may be filled.
