ProSource Group are seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Engineer for a specialist Mechanical contractor based in Dublin to assist in delivering exciting large scale projects in Ireland, including medium to high density residential, commercial, educational, and energy projects. As a Mechanical Project Engineer you will be joining their growing Engineering team, managing mechanical contracts with values ranging from €500k to €20 million. Core Responsibilities: As a project Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for the below engineering activities when assigned to a project. Collate all design documents and drawings Carry out an estimation to engineering team project handover Review Design Package received and understand specifications, schedules, and drawings received Pricing Plant and Materials Identify value engineering opportunities Establishing Project Budgets Compiling and issuing Technical Submittals Attending Project Meetings Raise and Track Project RFIs Liaise with BIM team and review co-ordinated drawings for compliance Ordering Plant and Materials Compiling Sub-Contractor Works Packages Pricing Variations Establishing Commissioning Figures and Sequence Appointing Sub-Contractors Organising and issuing project handover certificates Compiling & Issuing O&M Manuals Essential Criteria: Minimum 4 years experience in a similar role Strong communication and team skills Ability to take ownership of assigned projects Ability to deliver assigned tasks within set deadline dates Knowledge of Mechanical Services including reading and interpreting building services drawings and schematics.
