We're looking for a
Senior Systems Administrator
who will own and enhance our on-premise and Azure environments while guiding and mentoring a fellow Systems Administrator.
This is a permanent hybrid position, offering the flexibility to balance remote work with on-site collaboration.

Reporting to:
Head of IT
What You'll Do
Ensure day-to-day reliability, security and performance across Azure, Microsoft 365, networking, servers.
Lead/mentor a Systems Administrator and act as a go-to escalation point.
Drive hardening, patching, identity, backup/DR, monitoring and incident response.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business operations and future growth.
Partner with trusted vendors to deliver best-in-class outcomes across networking, virtualisation, infrastructure and cybersecurity.
Influence roadmaps, standards and procurement.
What You'll Bring
A proactive mindset with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Leadership experience or a desire to step into a leadership role.
Senior-level systems administration in a hybrid cloud setting.
Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, Azure.
Experience with backup, disaster recovery, and cybersecurity best practices.
Familiarity with vendor engagement and procurement processes is a plus.
Cyber Security Oversight, play an active and guiding part in Barry Group's cyber preparedness while working with our partners.
