Position Summary
NeoDyne are recruiting a highly skilled Automation Engineer to work on leading-edge automation projects, predominantly in the Food & Beverage sector. A background in GAMP 5 and experience with Rockwell/ Allen Bradley products would be a distinct advantage.

Key Responsibilities
Working with a team of digital manufacturing/automation engineers managing and delivering projects to customer sites.
Developing engineering design documents, technical evaluations, and test plans for cGMP process equipment and following GAMP 5 guidelines.
Design and coding of industrial process automation solutions on Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs).
Production of I/O schedules.
Preparation of Functional Design specifications.
Design and configuration of user interface systems for industrial control (HMI/SCADA).
Design of control panels and creation of panel wiring schematics.
Commissioning of control systems in the field: I/O and instrumentation testing, full testing and commissioning of automation systems.
Fault finding of control systems (PLC, HMI/SCADA, Communication Networks etc.).
Providing design and approval for hardware, software, and controls for automated systems.
Working closely with customers to identify areas for improvement through the use of automation and data analytics technology.
Providing technical and automation operational support to Engineering, Manufacturing, Validation and Facilities departments.
Mentoring and training of graduate/junior engineers.
Experience & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/ Computer Science / Information Systems or related field.
3+ years’ automation engineering experience.
Knowledge of process instrumentation and wiring.
Experience with control networks and communications systems (Profibus, Modbus, DeviceNet).
Experience working with validated Automation systems in the Pharmaceutical or Food & Beverage manufacturing environment.
