Title: Deputy Cleaning Manager

Reports to: Cleaning Services Manager

Direct Reports: Cleaning team

Contract Type: Permanent Full Time

Hours: 40 hours per week

Location: The Convention Centre Dublin, Spencer Dock, N Wall Quay, North Dock, Dublin 1, D01 T1W6

OVERALL RESPONSIBILITY

This role exists to support the management of an effective and high quality cleaning operation at the client site.

MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITY
1. Reporting into the Cleaning Services Manager, you will support a team of Supervisors and cleaning operatives in our client's 5-star venue ensuring the delivery of KPI's, SLA's and service desk requirements which are set out within our contract.
2. You will assist the site Cleaning Services Manager to manage the service within the budget allowed for cleaning services within the site to encompass labour, cleaning materials, equipment, and consumables.
3. You will ensure that all staff on site receive the training required such as company and client Induction training.
4. You will be responsible in completion of weekly rosters for the site and accurately captured within time and attendance system in accordance with budget.
5. Dealing with all aspects of the recruitment process, staff and performance management including the disciplinary procedures.
6. You will represent the department at operational meetings and participate in audits and training.
7. Ensuring that control measures and Health and Safety processes to ensure a safe working environment for all our employees and client staff and visitors.
8. To develop a productive workforce that is customer focused.
9. Build on client relationships onsite developing retention strategy with the venue
10. To provide your onsite Cleaning Services Manager with a monthly report of activity, progress, and issues.
MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITY
11. Accept opportunities for continuing training where provided by the company .
12. To be aware of one's own responsibilities towards health and safety.
13. Act as an ambassador of the company at all times with colleagues and members of the public.
14. Adhere to the Data Protection policy on all aspects of data safety and storage.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
15. Must be self-motivated and complete all tasks in a professional, accurate and timely manner.
16. Team player, yet highly self-driven and ambitious.
17. Communicate all information in an open and courteous manner.
18. Possess the highest degree of integrity and confidentiality at all times.
19. A professional and dynamic person that can adapt to change as required.
20. High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
21. Ability to multitask.
22. Ability to work under pressure in a busy environment maintaining high quality standard of work.
The role is from Monday to Friday, evening and weekend work will be expected.
