This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious professional to join a growing manufacturer of high-performance packaging lines and bespoke automation solutions. Our client serves a global customer base across the Pharmaceutical, Food & Beverage, Life Sciences, and Biotech sectors.
In this role, you will play a key part in the sales process—from conceptual design and technical layout creation to pricing, quoting, and client engagement. You'll collaborate closely with internal teams and represent the company at major industry events, helping to secure large-scale, multi-million Euro automation projects. Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead the drafting of concepts & drawing layouts with 2D AutoCad of individual solutions & full lines, and providing any other simulations, rendering or data to support sales
2. Generate quotations templates and proposals for customers.
3. Work closely with the design team, CEO, Sales Manager and Production director to make sure the quotations and designs include all the correct information and costs;
4. Support pricing by working with the technical director, production director & financial controller to make sure all the pricing & cost data is correct.
5. Serving as a business representative at major industry events, conferences, trade shows, and expositions, including speaking about the company's products and services;
6. Support the sales pipeline and lead tracking process to report on key KPIs related to lead generation and conversion rates;
7. Work with internal teams on behalf of clients to ensure the highest level of customer service;
8. Provide market feedback to the company leadership regarding competitive offerings, prospect needs and generate product development ideas.
9. Support sales by updating CRM and maintaining that the catalogue is up-to-date
10. Lead the sales activities for the food sector
What you'll need to succeed:
11. 4 or more years in the packaging, engineering or machine manufacturing industry
12. Experience in selling automation
13. Deep experience with AutoCad 2D
14. Some knowledge of Solidworks 3D
15. Some experience of working with Blender, RoboDK or something else to create 3D animations.
16. Experience developing automation solutions and concept layout design is a distinct advantage.
17. Competency in Word, PowerPoint & Excel
Education:
18. Preferred a Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or electrical engineering.
19. Have completed a mechanical drafting course.
