Purpose of the Role
The Commercial Executive will support the delivery of a wide range of commercial initiatives across sponsorship, ticketing, and hospitality. The role ensures seamless coordination, administration, and execution of commercial activities, including match-day events, partner activations, and marketing campaigns. It is suited to a detail-oriented, organised, and proactive individual passionate about football, brand-building, and sports business.
Key Responsibilities
Commercial Support & Coordination
* Assist in managing commercial partners and executing campaigns.
* Support sponsorship activation plans, including presentations, branding, events, and reporting.
* Coordinate internal communications across departments for campaign execution.
* Build and manage a network of football legends for partner and match-day activations.
Administration & Reporting
* Maintain partnership tracking documents, rights delivery, and project timelines.
* Prepare presentations, case studies, partner communications, and post-campaign reports.
* Support CRM and document management for commercial contacts.
* Manage team meetings, capturing minutes and action points.
* Assist with financial administration, including POs and partnership queries.
* Support the Commercial Director in monthly strategy updates.
Event Support
* Support planning and delivery of match-day hospitality and commercial events.
* Coordinate stadium logistics for Club Ireland and corporate hospitality.
* Manage partner branding on-site, including programmes, pitch-side, and big screen.
* Manage the match-day partner invite process and guest experience.
* Provide operational support for Senior International match days and partner events.
Marketing & Content
* Collaborate with marketing and media teams to deliver sponsor content and promotional assets.
* Assist in organising photoshoots, video content, and digital deliverables.
* Support delivery of fan engagement initiatives for Club Ireland and Season Ticket holders.
Market Research
* Conduct market research to identify new commercial opportunities.
* Provide insights on brands, strategic priorities, and marketing activities.
* Monitor sponsorship and hospitality trends across sports organisations.
Person Specification

Experience and Qualifications
Essential:
* Experience in a support role within commercial, marketing, sports, or events environments.
* Excellent organisational and administrative skills with attention to detail.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint and Excel essential); experience with Canva or similar design tools a plus.
* Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
* Genuine interest in football, sports marketing, and commercial partnerships.
Desirable:
* Experience with CRM platforms.
* Understanding of the Irish sports sponsorship and media landscape.
* Experience in event planning or hospitality coordination.
* Familiarity with digital and social media platforms and trends.
