Driving Sales and Marketing Strategy in a Prestigious Contract
We are seeking an experienced leader to drive our sales and marketing strategy for this prestigious contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and implementing a sales and marketing plan to achieve commercial targets.
Key Responsibilities:
* Create and implement a comprehensive sales and marketing plan to drive business growth.
* Manage all sales and marketing activities to deliver agreed commercial targets.
* Support the head office sales and marketing team on business development activities as required.
* Nurture relationships with key stakeholders, including clients and trade partners.
* Lead, manage, and develop a successful and experienced sales team to achieve business goals.
* Provide regular financial and activity-based sales reports to the contract manager.
* Promote a professional image of the company at all times both internally and externally.
The Ideal Candidate Should Have:
* A minimum of 7 years' experience within the tourism/hospitality industry, 3 years of which should be at a management level.
* Degree-level qualification in business/hospitality related discipline would be a distinct advantage.
* Demonstrated ability to plan, create, execute, and measure innovative online, offline, and public relations strategies to deliver business targets.
* Commercially aware, keyed into changes within the industry with a proven ability to develop new business, increase revenue, and maximise yield performance.
* Previous Sales Management experience working with a high-quality, globally recognised brand.
* Ability to share passion for the business with clients, to communicate a vision and build meaningful, long-term relationships.
* Flexibility to travel if required.
* A passion for food, excellence in customer service, and a willingness to challenge in the interest of delivering improvements across all areas of the business.
* In-depth knowledge of the MICE markets, both nationally and internationally, to ensure the business's success.
* Advanced written and verbal communication skills.
* Demonstrated ability to communicate and influence at all levels.
* Excellent planning and organisational skills with a high attention to detail.
* Competent in developing budgets, delivering accurate monthly sales forecasts, and managing costs.
