Risk Analyst – Group Risk – Wealth Management
A top tier wealth management institution is looking to hire an
ambitious risk professional who is looking join a growing team who are looking
to strengthen their operational and enterprise risk teams.
The successful candidate will be involved in the daily activity of
the Risk Function and will have exposure to a wide range of risk areas including
enterprise Risk, operational risk, third party risk, conduct risk and market risk.
It is not a necessity that they have previous experience in these areas but
exposure to one of more is beneficial.
Role Responsibilities will include:
* Effective management of risk within the organisation by assisting
in the implementation of the Risk Management Framework
* Support and participate in the execution of Group Risk activities
and initiatives including those specific to Data Governance
* Collation and analysis of regular Management Information and
metrics in relation to Operational and other areas of risk
* Assist in the development of internal policies, procedures and
training material as required
* Participate in risk initiatives and provide advice to the business
on appropriate treatment and controls
* Compliance with the Risk and Compliance frameworks, policies and
procedures associated with the role
Requirements
o 2 + years of experience working in financial services in a risk
related role ( AML, Op risk, Enterprise risk, Conduct or Market risk all
acceptable )
o Strong academics and must hold a 3rd level relevant
degree or professional qualification
o Excellent communication and stake holder management skills
o Experience using power point
and excel
o Knowledge of governance risk and compliance systems
o An interest in or knowledge of the wealth management industry and
a desire to build a career in risk management in the area
