We are hiring a HV Electrical Engineer to support a very high‑profile pharmaceutical client in Co. Limerick.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Oversee installation, and commissioning of High Voltage (HV) systems, including switchgear, transformers, and protection relays in pharmaceutical environment.
* Oversee testing and validation of HV equipment, ensuring operational safety and compliance with relevant standards.
* Support maintenance schedules, troubleshooting, and repair for HV electrical systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
* Develop and manage HV Switching plans for the electrical team.
* Collaborate with project teams to meet technical specifications and ensure high-quality engineering outcomes for client.
* Work with advanced equipment and innovative solutions, promoting continual improvement in safety and efficiency.
Qualifications / Skills
* Minimum Level 7 in Electrical Engineering with hands‑on experience in HV/MV systems, including assembly, installation, commissioning, and maintenance.
* Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an industrial environment.
* Experience in regulated environment.
* Knowledge of ATEX, DC power systems, and grid maintenance standards.
* Very strong experience in Industrial HV electrical systems.
* Troubleshooting electrical control systems.
* Strong PC skills.
