Deputy Manager Job Overview
The role of a Deputy Manager is to support the Store Manager in overseeing the daily operations of a store, ensuring exceptional service to both colleagues and customers.
* Taking full accountability for store management when the Store Manager is absent.
* Serving as the primary point of contact for all colleagues' queries in the absence of their Line Manager.
* Fostering open communication within the store and creating an environment that encourages two-way dialogue.
* Leading the team to achieve set targets by understanding and driving the store's key performance indicators.
* Mentoring and guiding colleagues to help them meet daily priorities and be present at the right time to cater to customer needs.
* Analyzing reports and systems to identify areas for improvement and implement effective changes for customers and colleagues.

A prerequisite for this role is previous retail management experience.
