Many of these services, including traffic, drainage and fire and emergency services are provided on a regional basis for the Greater Dublin Area.An opportunity now exists in Dublin City Council for the position of Senior Executive Officer.Job Summary/DescriptionThe Senior Executive Officer reports to the Executive Manager and is responsible for the efficient management, direction and development of the department and function to which they are assigned. They work within defined parameters relevant to the position, in accordance with the City Council's vision and objectives as set out in the Corporate Plan. Delivery of efficient services and value for money is crucial.The Senior Executive Officer is responsible for leading on policy implementation, service delivery and change management in a dynamic and goal driven environment. The role offers the opportunity to demonstrate leadership, innovation, agility and a commitment to customer service.
