On behalf of our client, we are currently recruiting for a Clinic Manager for the renal area. Based in Portlaoise, this role is a 37.5-hour week, Monday – Friday, reporting to the Operations Manager.
Role Summary:
The Clinic Manager will manage and lead the nursing & support teams in caring for patients with renal failure. The clinic supports existing renal services offered in the public health system, both clinically and professionally.
Key Responsibilities:
* Service planning, development, coordination, and management of activity and resources to ensure service delivery.
* Operational, quality, and vigilance management of the unit, with support from the Operations Manager.
* Implementing and assessing standards of patient care, managing resources efficiently, balancing quality and cost efficiency.
* Ensuring compliance with HIQA requirements and local, corporate, and national policies.
* Providing professional leadership and team development.
Additional Responsibilities:
* Finance and business management of the clinic.
* Planning education and training for the team.
* Overseeing quality and care management.
Skills & Experience:
* Registered Nurse with INMB registration – Essential.
* Minimum 5 years post-registration experience, with at least 3 years in renal care.
* Completed or willing to undertake the Postgraduate Diploma in Nursing (Specialist Renal) upon commencement.
* Financial knowledge related to healthcare and staffing resources.
* Strong leadership, relationship-building, negotiation, and influencing skills.
* Strategic thinking and performance orientation.
* Excellent commercial, business acumen, and communication skills.
* Experience in driving business results and development in healthcare.
