Teamworx are delighted to be recruiting an experienced Accommodation Manager for a boutique 4 star property in North Dublin.
The hotel is currently undergoing a refurbishment with the bedrooms and luxurious suites almost complete.
The role
* Work in conjunction with the Hotel Manager/Management Team in the day to day operations of the hotel.
* Overall responsibility for the day to day operations of the accommodation department.
* Manage and co-ordinate the housekeeping team to ensure that all bedrooms and bathrooms are cleaned/maintained to the highest standard.
* Manage and co-ordinate the housekeeping team to ensure the cleaning of all public areas within the hotel.
* Work in conjunction with Front Office Manager and Reception Team to ensure that the overall guest experience and expectations are achieved.
* Providing excellent customer care to our guests at all times.
* Staff Training and development.
* Management of a team of 10-12 people.
* Stock/supply ordering.
* Attending hotel meetings and complete action plans.
The ideal candidate
* Previous experience as a Hotel Accommodation Manager/Supervisor is essential.
* Must be fluent in the English Language both written and spoken.
* Must be enthusiastic and a quick learner.
* Must be able to multi-task and be willing to help out where required in all areas of the hotel.
* Excellent attention to detail and communications skills.
* Excellent people/customer care skills.
* Must be able to work as part of a team and on own initiative.
* Must be available for early starts, weekends, and public holidays.
