Calor has an exciting opportunity within their Bulk Operations Department for a permanent position of a Bulk Delivery Driver. The role involves delivering multi-fuel types to customers in domestic, industrial, and commercial sectors. The position operates on a shift basis, including early mornings, daytime, and afternoons, on a rotational schedule working any 5 days out of 7, including weekends.
THE JOB
* Carry out pre- and post-shift vehicle H&S checks before departing from the depot.
* Deliver LPG, LNG, and other fuel types in accordance with Calor procedures, on single or multi-drop basis, to various customers.
* Drive safely and efficiently, complying with highway code rules.
* Record accurate delivery information using the onboard computer system.
* Attend training sessions and participate in regular assessments.
* Refuel vehicles as needed, following proper refuelling procedures.
* Maintain cleanliness of the vehicle, including the cab interior.
* Report accidents, incidents, and safety concerns immediately following company procedures.
* Complete all Near Miss reports as required.
* Produce licenses for inspection when requested.
* Process and submit daily administration at the end of each shift.
* Follow procedures outlined in the driver’s manual and training manual.
* Assist in training other drivers as needed.
* Work a flexible schedule, including possible after-hours emergency calls.
* Communicate clearly and effectively.
* Perform minor yard duties as required.
* Assist other drivers when necessary.
* Operate within legal driver hours and working time legislation, including tachograph and break requirements.
* Be flexible with early and late start/finish times, e.g., from 4:00 am or 6:00 pm.
* Operate all technology in the trucks.
* Deliver excellent customer experience, embodying Calor’s values and standards of accountability, service, and curiosity.
* Prioritize health and safety for yourself and colleagues, logging safety conversations about unsafe conditions or acts.
* Perform any other duties assigned by the Transport Manager.

Experience, Skills, and Qualifications
Education requirements include:
* Proficiency in written and spoken English and good Math skills.
* Maths & English leaving certificate or equivalent preferred.
Must have:
* At least 2 years of HGV driving experience.
* Valid HGV license suitable for tanker size (rigid or articulated).
* ADR Certificate in bulk gases (Packages and Tanks).
* Driver CPC qualifications and Digital Tachograph Card.
* Up-to-date CPC modules.
* Relevant experience in multi- and single-drop driving.
* Manual handling & Working at Heights certificates.
* Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
* Experience with Tachograph Regulations.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.
* Mechanical knowledge is advantageous.
* Customer-first mindset.
* Knowledge of digital logistics and Irish geography is beneficial.
* LPG/LNG product knowledge is a plus.
