We are seeking an experienced Senior Linux Administrator to join our Information Systems team.
This role is critical to the support and maintenance of Linux hosting environments, ensuring stability, security, and performance across both on-premise and cloud platforms.
Technical Environment You will work within a modern, enterprise-scale technology stack, including: Operating Systems: RHEL 8 (with planned upgrade to RHEL 10) Containers: Red Hat Open Shift on Azure (ARO) Automation & Scripting: Ansible Automation Platform, Automation Hub, Bash Version Control: Git (Bitbucket), SVN Collaboration & ITSM: Jira, Confluence CI/CD: Jenkins, Sonar Qube, Sonatype Security: Rapid7, Aqua Security, OSSEC Monitoring & Logging: Opsview, Prometheus, EFK Stack, Loki, Splunk Cloud: Microsoft Azure About You You bring a strong technical background with a structured, proactive approach to Linux system administration.
You are comfortable operating in complex enterprise environments and taking ownership of systems and issues.
Essential Requirements Minimum of 7 years experience in a senior or equivalent Linux administration role Advanced knowledge of Linux systems, infrastructure, and core concepts Strong understanding of enterprise or financial services policies, standards, and controls Experience working with third-party vendors Relevant technical certifications or accreditations Desirable Previous experience in financial institutions or regulated environments Key Skills & Competencies Proven expertise in Linux system administration Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Excellent organisational, time-management, and prioritisation skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work to defined SLAs and take ownership of issues High attention to detail and commitment to quality Team-focused, flexible, and proactive attitude Eligibility: Candidates must hold Stamp 4, EU, or Irish citizenship and be based in Ireland.
