General Purpose:The Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist ensures the reliability, functionality, performance, and security of TPx's enterprise software applications. Working under the direction of a QA Manager and in coordination with key business and technical stakeholders, this role validates that system features and data inputs produce accurate, high-quality outcomes that directly enhance the customer experience.The QA Specialist develops and executes comprehensive test strategies, both manual and automated, to support new implementations, enhancements, and integrations acrossSaaS and legacy platforms—with particular focus onServiceNowandSalesforcesystems supporting Marketing, Sales, and Service operations.Direct Reports: NoEssential Duties and Responsibilities:Develop, execute, and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for new and existing applications.Perform functional, regression, data validation, security, performance, and usability testing to ensure product quality.Test web applications and SaaS platforms, with preference for Marketing applications, ServiceNow and Salesforce environments.Collaborate closely with architects, developers, business analysts, product and project managers to define test strategies and ensure comprehensive coverage.Identify, document, and track defects in Jira or equivalent issue tracking tools and verify resolutions.Participate in Agile & Waterfall development lifecycles, supporting sprint planning, release cycles, and quality gates.Ensure compliance with quality assurance best practices, providing recommendations for process improvements where needed.Contribute to release readiness activities, including QA sign-off and post-release validation.Other Responsibilities:Understand and assist in automated testing into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps) where applicableAssist in the design, implement, and maintain automated regression suites using tools such as Selenium where applicableCoordinate with admins/developers to maintain sandbox alignment and configuration consistency.Assist in the refresh of test environments and datasets to support QA cycles.Identify and report performance bottlenecks and recommend optimizations.Continually contribute to establishing QA standards, templates, and best practices across the organization.Verify role-based access controls, field-level security, and data visibility rules.Assist in the user authentication and SSO integrations (OAuth, SAML).Required Qualifications:Education and Experience:Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field; or equivalent work experience.3+ years of experience in software quality assurance role.Experience creating and maintaining test plans and test scripts.Familiarity with Agile methodology along with exposure to Waterfall and Spiral models.Ability to organize, self-manage, follow-through, coordinate, and prioritizeStrong attention to detail with analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.Other Qualifications:Experience with SaaS platforms such as ServiceNow or Salesforce.Hands-on experience with Jira for defect tracking and test management.Experience with Selenium or similar tool for scripting and test automation.Knowledge of SQL for database validation during testing.Familiarity with API testing and CI/CD pipeline integration.ISTQB or equivalent QA certification.TPx is an Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action employer.
