About This Role:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented professional to fill this Finance Administrator position in Cork. As the primary point of contact for all financial matters, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate records, processing payments, and providing exceptional support across various departments.
Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:
* Processing purchase invoices and supplier reconciliations with precision to ensure seamless financial operations
* Assisting with company vehicle fleet administration, guaranteeing efficient day-to-day operations
* Processing monthly employee expenses, prioritizing timeliness and accuracy to meet deadlines
* Supporting project certification tracking and invoicing, promoting smooth processes and timely cash flow
* Reconciling debtor accounts and facilitating timely cash collection, fostering a positive cash flow
* Assisting with new supplier and subcontractor account setups, payments, and queries, building strong relationships
* Providing general support across Finance, Purchasing, and QS teams, promoting collaboration and efficiency
The Ideal Candidate:
* Should have at least 2 years of experience in a finance or administrative role, with a proven track record of success
* Be proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with accounting software, enabling seamless data management
* Have experience with purchase orders and invoice processing, coupled with strong attention to detail and accuracy
* Possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with colleagues and stakeholders
* Be able to prioritize, problem-solve, and adapt in a fast-paced environment, with a proactive and self-motivated approach
* Exhibit a team-oriented mindset, with a collaborative approach and ability to maintain confidentiality
About the Position:
This is a fixed-term contract lasting 6 months, offering a competitive salary of €31,000 per annum. The role involves working Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm, with an early finish at 4:30pm on Fridays. The ideal candidate will be office-based in Cork, requiring minimal travel.
