We are seeking a skilled Technical Maintenance Specialist to join our team at a customer site in Laois. This role requires the successful candidate to perform maintenance and support tasks on high-speed automated equipment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Troubleshoot, repair or refurbish standard equipment and systems components ensuring optimal performance.
2. Maintain accurate and up-to-date maintenance procedures to meet industry standards.
3. Schedule and perform preventative maintenance tasks to minimize downtime.
4. Collaborate with the engineering team to develop and implement process improvements.
5. Support projects and lead actions assigned to the maintenance group to drive business results.
6. Provide timely feedback on issues through our electronic management system.
7. Implement hands-on solutions to resolve machine failures efficiently.
8. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance which may include disassembling, replacing or repairing defective parts reassembling as required.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Minimum 4 Years of Experience within a Mechanical or Electrical Technician role.
* Degree in a related field: Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronic.
* Experience within Postal Sortation is advantageous but not essential.
* Competent understanding in troubleshooting PC PLC pneumatic mechanical IT and electronic/electrical systems.
* Strong analytical skills supporting fast and effective problem-solving.
* Knowledge of automated and conveying systems.
* General maintenance and technical cleaning expertise.
