Description
* Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
* Maintain and review General Ledger integrity
* Analyse GL accounts and perform monthly budget variance reviews
* Complete monthly reconciliations and consolidate results in Oracle HFM
* Manage subledgers and ensure compliance across all entities
* Prepare and submit VAT returns for multiple entities; act as the main VAT contact for Ireland and UK
* Maintain accurate company accounts, books, and records for all transactions and assets
* Support statutory reporting and perform additional duties as required
Profile
A successful Accounting Manager should have:
* A strong educational background in Accounting, Finance, or a related field and relevant qualification.
* Proven expertise in cost accounting
* Experience within the manufacturing industry
* Proficiency in accounting software and financial systems. Oracle HFM ideally
* USGAAP and Sox experience
* Knowledge of VAT returns
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

* Competitive salary ranging from €65,500 to €78,000.
