Whilst TPO's products and expertise have helped forward the treatment of orthodontics worldwide, the company's commitment to the industry and its heritage continues to push us to improve the way we do business.Overview:We are looking for a Logistics Operative as an addition to our small European warehouse team in Dublin to handle our shipments to our EU customers.This position is ideal for someone who can work flexibly and is looking to work part time between 20-25 hours per week, Monday-Friday as agreed. As a guide, hours should be between the warehouse opening times of 9am and 4pm but there is flexibility within those limits.The Logistics Operative will expertly manage the daily packet shipments coming in from the manufacturing facilities based in USA via special courier. This role involves carefully preparing the client orders, shipping labels and coordination of the onward shipments to the EU daily. The Logistics Operative will liaise with the chosen logistics company for drop off and collections, will keep a daily track of shipments into the EU and reporting status back to Management in the UK.Key Responsibilities:Receipt and manual handling of daily shipments from the USAPrepare each individual customer order for shipping, administering shipment labels. Carefully selecting the forward shipping address from the logistics softwarePrepare end of day paperwork and collection by logistics companyDaily tracking of shipments into EU reporting back to Management UK HQDaily liaisons with logistics support team (helpdesk) proving updates to ManagementGeneral upkeep of TPO Office in view of health and safety issue and compliance with regulationsAny other duties determined by supervisorExperience and Skills:Ability to work aloneExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to communicate effectively, both written and verbalComputer LiterateJob Type: Part-timePay: From €18.00 per hourExpected hours: 20 – 25 per weekWork Location: In person
