Cost Accountant
to join their finance team on an
initial 2-3 month temporary contract

The successful
Cost Accountant
will work closely with operational and senior management teams, providing critical cost analysis, insight and reporting to support short-term decision-making and business performance. This is a highly visible role where your commercial acumen will make an immediate impact.

The Role:
* Analyse product, operational and manufacturing costs to support margin improvement
* Prepare and maintain detailed cost models, forecasts and variance analysis
* Partner with operations and finance leadership to support short-term commercial decisions
* Review standard costing and support updates where required
* Provide accurate, timely reporting to support month-end and management reviews
* Identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements
The Person:
* Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent), or qualified by experience
* Proven experience working in a
Cost Accountant
or similar commercial finance role
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and challenge data
* Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
* Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
* Available to start immediately or at very short notice
