Job Description:
The Physiotherapy Head of Discipline is a senior leadership role that oversees the management of physiotherapists working in adult and children's services. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing clinical governance, supervision, and guidance to ensure high-quality service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide clinical oversight and support to physiotherapists
* Develop and implement policies, procedures, and guidelines for physiotherapy practice
* Represent the physiotherapy discipline at a management level within the organization
* Contribute to strategic planning and further development of Children's Disability Network Teams (CDNTs)
Requirements:
* Statutory Registration with CORU as a Physiotherapist
* Minimum 5 years full-time experience as a senior physiotherapist
* Experience working in disability services, preferably with both children and adults
* Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
* Demonstrated ability to facilitate and support change management and improve service delivery
Working Conditions:
The successful candidate will work collaboratively with various stakeholders, including Children's Disability Network Managers, Sector Manager, Heads of Disciplines, and Director of Service to ensure quality service provision to children and their families.
This is a permanent, full-time position, although part-time hours may be considered for the right candidate.
