About the Role
This is a key role within the SME accounting team, ideal for an experienced Senior Accountant who enjoys managing a varied portfolio and working closely with Partners. You will take ownership of client relationships, contribute to the ongoing development of the team, and play a visible role as the firm enters its next stage of growth.
Responsibilities
Preparing financial statements for SMEs, including companies, sole traders and partnerships
Preparing and filing Corporation Tax and Income Tax returns
Preparing and reviewing VAT, RCT and PAYE returns
Managing CRO filings and statutory compliance
Acting as a key point of contact for clients, providing clear and practical advice
Supporting and mentoring junior team members
About You
3–5 years’ experience in general practice accounting
ACA or ACCA qualified, or operating at senior part‑qualified level
Comfortable managing a portfolio and dealing directly with clients
Motivated by responsibility, autonomy and progression within a growing firm
