We're delighted to announce that Core Sponsorship is now hiring for a Media Sponsorship Manager.
Responsibilities / Key Performance Indictors (KPIs):
The role of the Media Sponsorship Manager assumes the responsibility of project
manager for each media sponsorship they are assigned. The role will also involve
meeting and exceeding team revenue targets set in the business plan. The Media
Sponsorship Manager will need to foster a strong a working relationship with our
colleagues in the Media Practices and gain a thorough understanding of their client's key
objectives. This role is central to the efficient and effective running of the day to day
media sponsorship service and management. This includes the creation and tracking of
sponsorship critical paths, timely and accurate billing/spend projections, delivering
relevant sponsorship opportunities to the highest standard, presenting response to
briefs and ideation. The media sponsorship manager will work closely with Investment
and the AV Team to ensure we are offering our clients best in market value and
providing insightful reporting to both clients and Media Teams.
KPIs will include revenue targets, growing the Sponsorship Practice's reputation
internally and externally, and the media sponsorship service scores in the annual
RADAR service review.
AGENCY PERFORMANCE
• Project management of the media sponsorship process, working closely with Media Team
colleagues, Investment, Channel Planning and other integral teams to ensure Sponsorship
Practice output is of the highest standard
• Management of media sponsorship projects from start to end (dealing
with client queries, negotiating with media owners, coordinating
reports, monitoring, presenting results)
• Creating strong relationships with media owners, gain a deep understanding
of their properties and how to tailor opportunities for Core clients
• Analyse and understand reports. Use the data generated to provide
insights and identify clear actions to be taken
• Liaising with the client and creative agency for delivery of sponsorship creative assets
• Develop an understanding of each Practice and integral team within Core and what it
contributes to the overall plan
• Validate sponsorship campaign delivery and performance and create post campaign
reviews for clients
• Responsibility in making sure a campaign goes live
• Helping sponsorship presentations
• Coordinating media owner briefs and delivery
COMMERCIAL PERFORMANCE
• Collection of client POs and manage the internal communication of POs across
teams ensuring effective and efficient month end billing for all media sponsorship
activity
• Overall responsibility for billing at the end of each month
• Manage media sponsorship budgets, forecasting and aged debt
• Ensure all billing is 100% accurate and on time for all media sponsorships
TALENT MANAGEMENT
• Deepening understanding of media by committing to the internal training Core
Learning programme(s) and regularly attend training for your development
• Developing understanding of client business, their Key Business Priorities for the
year and play a role in creating media sponsorship strategies to deliver against
them
• ensure close collaboration with Media Sponsorship and Media Teams to ensure that
they are enabled to actively assist your development and to ensure the consistent
delivery of the highest standard of agency output
• ensure a strong comprehension and commitment to your career development plan

Your profile
Experience
• Up to 2 years media experience with proven track record. Knowledge of the
digital disciplines would be beneficial but not essential
• Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office, in particular Excel and PowerPoint
• Experience in managing large scale, complex media campaigns is essential
• Previous experience with relevant marketing tools

Salary Range
€33,000 - €44,000 DOE
