Senior Digital Project Manager **** SimoTech has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Digital Project Manager to join our team, supporting our client on a state-of-the-art pharmaceutical site in Cork.
The successful Project Manager will be responsible for managing the delivery of multiple projects within the digital space across MES, Labs, CSV, Data Analytics and Infrastructure systems, including a state-of-the-art digital Material Tracking System.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 years' experience in a similar role along with exceptional stakeholder and vendor management skills.
Key Responsibilities Lead the implementation of digital initiatives and projects across MES, Material Tracking and Power BI software applications, ensuring project scope is defined, and that there is alignment across departments, equipment, technology and processes.
Develop a good understanding of manufacturing business processes to ensure projects are properly planned, executed and delivered.
Actively manage schedule, budget and resources across each project Collaborate with different teams and departments across site, including Automation, MES, Quality and IT, to ensure digital projects are correctly prioritised.
Engage with and manage key stakeholders, ensuring alignment with their requirements and project objectives.
Work closely with vendors to ensure systems are maintained, scalable, and aligned with site requirements.
Align project timelines with manufacturing schedules and planned maintenance windows.
Support with change management requirements during deployment of projects.
Provide reports and updates to relevant business areas, senior management and flow teams on project plans, timelines, escalations etc, as and when required.
Lead project standup meetings.
Lead the onboarding of new team members to projects teams and help with their assimilation.
Work in conjunction with CSV and QA teams to ensure all project documentation is completed in adherence to the latest pharmaceutical industry standards and regulations including GMP, GDP and 21 CFR Part 11.
Requirements Key Requirements Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
Minimum 8 years' experience in Project Management within an Automation, MES, or ERP environment in the life sciences industry.
PMP or similar project management certification is an advantage.
Knowledge of pharmaceutical industry standards and regulations including data integrity, GMP, GDP and 21 CFR Part 11.
Excellent people management, stakeholder engagement, vendor management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Strong commercial acumen, with experience in budget management and reporting.
Excellent problem-solving, facilitation, and communication skills.
Ability to work on own initiative.
High level of attention to detail in work.
