About the Role:
As a Front Office Receptionist at The Ashe Hotel, you will be the face of our establishment, responsible for ensuring that every guest's experience is seamless from start to finish. From warmly welcoming guests upon arrival to efficiently handling check-in/check-out procedures, you'll play a vital role in creating a positive and welcoming atmosphere for all our visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
* Warm Hospitality: Greet guests with genuine warmth and enthusiasm, ensuring they feel valued and welcome from the moment they arrive.
* Efficient Check-in/Check-out: Conduct check-in/check-out procedures with precision and attention to detail, ensuring accurate documentation and payment processing.
* Guest Services: Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries, providing information about hotel amenities and local attractions, and accommodating special requests.
* Financial Management: Handle cash, credit card transactions, and voucher redemption accurately and securely, adhering to hotel policies and procedures.
* Organisational Skills: Maintain an efficient and well-organised reception area, ensuring all equipment is in working order and supplies are adequately stocked.
* Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other hotel departments to ensure a seamless guest experience and contribute to the overall success of the hotel.
Candidate Requirements:
* Experience in Reception, preferably in a 4/5-star hotel environment.
* Excellent Local knowledge of Tralee / Kerry / Ireland
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
* Exceptional interpersonal skills, essential for cultivating positive interactions and building rapport with guests and colleagues.
* Organisational skills with a keen attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
* Exceptional customer service skills throughout the guest journey – with uncompromising standards of excellence
* Team player with effective collaboration skills and effective interdepartmental communication
* Ability to stand for extended period of times
* Friendly, Energetic, Approachable, Professional, Team player, Courteous
* Impeccably high standards of personal presentation
* Flexibility to work various shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
* Professional demeanour with a courteous, energetic, and friendly attitude.
