We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our expanding insulation company. This field-based role will cover projects across County Kerry, with travel into County Limerick and Cork.On a daily basis, this role involves visiting project sites, carrying out measurements, preparing valuations, and liaising with contractors, clients, and project managers. The Quantity Surveyor will monitor progress, assess costs, manage variations, and ensure works comply with budgets and specifications. Regular reporting, negotiation, and coordination are key to delivering projects efficiently and profitably across Kerry, Limerick, and Cork. This is a permanent position based in County Kerry.Responsibilities:Prepare, manage, and monitor project cost estimates, budgets, and valuations.Conduct site visits, take measurements, and assess completed works for payment applications.Negotiate contracts, rates, and variations with clients and subcontractors.Ensure accurate cost control, forecasting, and financial reporting.Prepare tender submissions and review project specifications.Liaise closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure commercial success.Monitor compliance with building regulations and company standards.Support continuous improvement in project delivery and cost efficiency.Requirements:Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent experience.Minimum 3 years' experience in construction or insulation.Strong negotiation and communication skills.Full, clean driving licence.Salary is in the region of €50 - €75,000 depending on experience with company vehicle provided.
