This position is open for temporary contract in Dublin 15, Blanchardstown.
Summary
* Handle and maintain flow of materials and products in manufacturing areas according to established guidelines.
* Actively supporting the Inventory Control function in all material related and control tasks.
* Accurately and safely perform warehouse related activities involving the physical movement of material with corresponding system transactions, supporting verifications, and documentation when necessary.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Safety First. Always. - Adhere to all safety rules and use required protective equipment.
* Responsible for receiving and shipping material including dock to stock through the operation of warehouse vehicles and equipment.
* Performing the appropriate system transactions for all inbound and outbound goods.
* Responsible for issuing material from stock and performing the appropriate system transactions.
* Preparing and completing production orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule.
* Ensure accuracy by performing all transactions correctly and verifying.
* Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits.
* Cycle counting and report any discrepancies.
* Utilizes RF scanners when appropriate for performing ERP transactions.
* Communicate and cooperate with team leads and coworkers.
* Maintaining 5S order and cleanliness, at all times.
* Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules, and regulations.
* General housekeeping to ensure that inventory/stock is stored in a safe and clean environment.
* Comply and follow all procedures within the company security policy.
* Operate and maintain preventively warehouse vehicles and equipment.
* During periods of high volumes, you may be required to provide support to other areas of the business.
* Requirements to work beyond normal working hours will be expected during peak periods.
* May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

* Highly motivated and enthusiastic individual with strong communication and interpersonal skills and ability to work with cross functional teams.
* Strong planning & organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to manage deadlines.
* Proficiency in the English language is a requirement alongside eligibility to work in Ireland.
* A “can do” work ethic with excellent problem-solving skills.
Minimum Requirements
* Leaving certificate or equivalent required. May substitute educational requirements in lieu of experience.
* Previous experience working in warehouse, logistics or material handling is essential.
* PPT License advantageous.
* A good understanding of materials and manufacturing process knowledge.
* Understanding of Health & Safety issues.
* Excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to set priorities, complete crucial tasks on time, keep to deadlines and pay close attention to detail.
* Computer literate with good level of outlook, word and excel.
Desired Criteria
* Good knowledge and/or previous experience of SAP.
* Previous experience in Electronic Manufacturing or similar industry.
