Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

Applicants should supply suitable character references and be prepared to complete a Garda vetting application form.
Overview
This is a developmental opportunity; no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career.
Duties
* Opening and closing of centre at relevant times.
* Be responsible for keys
* Ensuring maximum security is maintained throughout the building, its rooms and immediate grounds.
* Maintenance and Caretaking of all aspects of the building, setting up rooms for meetings, meals activities etc. and tidy up.
* Cleaning of toilets, hall and dining area and general clean up including cleaning of windows and stores.
* Assist with parties and functions that may arise from time to time.
* Assist older people and participants when they arrive and during their activities if/when required.
* Participate in training in house and with NCE.
* Comply with all policies and regulations responsible by the board of management.
* Work in cooperation with NCE.
* Adhere to waste and waste food policies.
* Act in a confidential matter at all times.
* Report any matters of concern to your line manager either verbally or in writing.
* Report any concerns of members in a confidential way.
* Report any damage to building or equipment to your line manager.
* Any other work required.
* Comply with all policies and regulations responsible by the Board of Management. Work in co-operation with NCE. Report to the Project Manager.
