Consultant – Life Science and Engineering
Position Summary
We’re looking for a dependable and proactive Catering field service Engineer to become part of our service team. The role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing a range of commercial catering equipment to ensure smooth operation and minimal disruption for clients.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
Carry out both reactive and planned maintenance on commercial catering appliances.
Take part in an on‑call rotation, approximately every sixth weekend.
Conduct warranty inspections and repairs as needed.
Install new catering equipment when required.
Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs to commercial catering systems.
Perform regular maintenance checks to ensure safety and efficiency.
Respond promptly and professionally to service requests.
Complete all job documentation accurately and on time.
Communicate effectively with customers and internal colleagues.
Adhere to all relevant health, safety, and environmental standards.
Skills & Experience
Prior experience within the catering or engineering sector is preferred.
Gas certification or experience is advantageous (training available if needed).
Strong electrical and mechanical fault‑finding abilities are beneficial.
Must hold a full, clean driving licence.
Excellent attention to detail and strong problem‑solving capabilities.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
